Très très utile quand on part à l’étranger: savoir demander où se trouve par exemple l’hôtel… et arriver à comprendre les indications que l’on vous donne.
– Hello! How can I go to the Plaza Hotel ?
– Bonjour, quel est le chemin pour aller à l’hôtel Plaza ?
– It’s easy! Go straight on as far as the roundabout, turn right and it’s on your left.
– C’est facile! Allez tout droit jusqu’au rond-point, tournez à droite et c’est sur votre gauche.
1) Demander son chemin
Il y a deux tournures principales. Il suffit de changer la destination.
a) How can I go to…
b) Could you tell me the way to…
Exemples : How can I go to the stadium? Could you tell me the way to the cinema?
2) Indiquer le chemin

Bon, avec tout ça, on peut facilement demander son chemin et comprendre des indications simples.

| Policeman: The museum? Well, go straight on as far as the roundabout, take the second exit, drive as far as the traffic lights, turn left and it’s on your right! | Le musée? Eh bien, allez tout droit jusqu’au rond-point, prenez la 2e sortie, roulez jusqu’aux feux rouges, tournez à gauche et c’est sur votre droite! |
